Nikki (Nicole) Blain (pictured left) is a corps de ballet dancer with West Australian Ballet. Born in Brisbane, Nikki trained with Nicole Marshman before moving to Melbourne to join The Australian Ballet School full-time at the age of 14. After graduating from The Australian Ballet School with a Vocational Graduate Diploma in Classical Ballet, Nikki joined the National Ballet of Canada. She then joined West Australian Ballet as a Young Artist in 2016, before being promoted in the corps de ballet in 2017. Nikki’s repertoire highlights include Chris Wheeldon’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, Rudolf Nureyev’s Sleeping Beauty, August Bournaville’s La Sylphide and Krzysztof Pastor’s Dracula. In her spare time, Nikki enjoys reading, going to the beach and hiking through regional WA.
