Following her training at the School, Gabrielle Davidson joined The Australian Ballet. Some of her career highlights include Maina Gielgud’s Sleeping Beauty- Bluebird and Lilac Fairy, Giselle- Peasant Pas de Deux, Lead willi, Stanton Welch’s Madam Butterfly- Suzuki, Divergence and A Time to Dance.
After 10 years at The Australian Ballet Gabrielle went back to university to study Physiotherapy and graduated with honours, this included the opportunity to work with Dr Sue Mayes on a research project looking at stress fractures in dancers. Since graduating as a physiotherapist she has enjoyed working in the hospital system but found her love as a dancer drew her back into the world of dance and she has since worked with The Australian Ballet and The Australian Ballet School, covering Sarah Way, treating the dancers and musicians at VCASS and working with dancers as a physio and Pilates practitioner at InSync in Camberwell.
